The Workplace Assessor Course (WAC) has been designed to support holistic assessors as well as help employers become more confident when working with, or employing people with disabilities. The course equates to approximately 11 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) learning. Rather than a one-off course it is an on-going resource that is continually updated to ensure that the material remains current.

The course has been designed to increase knowledge about and understanding of disabilities and the reasonable adjustments that employers can make to support disabled employees. The course addresses a number of different areas around disability awareness, assistive technology and the appropriate adjustments that can be made to support disabled people at work.
As industry experts we have worked with many different specialists to produce a detailed and holistic course. This ensures that the course’s broad content can benefit as many departments and people as possible. This includes but is not limited to the following: work place assessors, HR professionals, occupational health professionals, work coaches, disability advisors and line managers.

Completion of the course gets CPD accreditation, but what does this mean? The CPD Standards Office provides independent accreditation to ensure positive and successful experiences for all learners. The CPD mark of excellence demonstrates that the course adheres to CPD best practice and can be included in a formal CPD record.
