Hands Free Computing Ltd is delighted to announce its on-going commitment to the cross-government campaign – Disability Confident – during 2015.
Focused on encouraging more employers to become confident about employing disabled people, the term Disability Confident is increasingly becoming industry shorthand for best practice in disability employment.
In the second year of the campaign, Hands Free Computing Ltd is increasing its support by ensuring we are Clear Assured approved by the end of 2015.
Head of Operations, Theresa Pruvost said:
We are totally committed to the Disability Confident campaign. Working towards being Clear Assured ensures that we follow guidelines in our recruitment process to increase our current 35% of employees at Hands Free that have disabilities and gain confidence to recruit and retain disabled talent.
Minister for Disabled People Mark Harper said:
“With help from employers like Hands Free Computing Ltd, we are making a real difference to the work experience and employment opportunities offered to people with a disability. I urge all employers to make the most of disabled talent and help narrow the employment gap between disabled and non-disabled people.”
