National Recognition for Hands Free

Hands-Free Trainers and Assessors have all had their heads down over the past few months to enable them to gain the very best nationally recognised certification the training industry has to offer.
Hands-Free is now an Accredited Training Centre for the Learning and Performance Institute. This means it is now authorised to deliver training on behalf of the Learning and Performance Institute, which will leave participants with a nationally recognised certificate. This is great news for employees and employers as they can be assured that the assistive technology can be used in the very best way.
To add to this, Hands-Free has also been given the green light to enable it to develop training courses and to certify other IT trainers.
Hands Free training manager, a delighted Jo McDonagh, said: “These nationally recognised standards ensure that we are tested at the highest level and meet or exceed the criteria. It means that all our training is gold standard.”
Hands-Free is also now a Training Performance Monitoring and Assessment Licensed Centre (TPMA), authorised by the Learning and Performance Institute to assess and monitor trainers both internally and externally. The TPMA Framework is backed by Microsoft and NHS approved for delivery skills.
To add to its achievements Hands-Free has also been commended by the Learning and Performance Institute 2011 Training Awards for the External Training Project of the year. The company presented a hard-hitting case study which perfectly demonstrated how improvements in the workplace were truly life changing for a dyslexic client.
If that were not enough, Hands Free Trainers and Assessors have also all gained the PTLLS Award (Preparing to Teach in The Lifelong Learning Sector).
