Dragon MT Workflow System
Dragon MT is a full end-to-end transcription solution. It has been designed for hospitals wishing to reduce the turnaround times of documents, lower costs and increase the accuracy of medical reports.
Introduction to Dragon MT Workflow System:
Desktop based (front-end) speech recognition is the fastest and most efficient way to work. Once it has been dictated it has been typed. You can't get faster or more efficient than that. The problem is that many people don't want to change the way they currently work, even if it is taking them longer!
The Solution: Dragon MT Workflow System:
Dragon MT is a digital dictation workflow system.
Desktop and server based speech recognition are available as an option, but only for those that it will work for.
Dictation can be through a microphone, digital recorder or telephone. It is web-based so can be used by anyone with an internet connection.
The Process:
1) Initially when the clinician dictates, this is routed to a secretary to type via the workflow system.
2) When the secretary has typed the report and it has been authorised by the clinician, this is then sent to the transcription server and used to build a voice file for that individual clinician.
3) When the voice file is sufficiently mature the analyser recommends that the clinicians dictation is switched from being transcribed by the secretary to the server.
4)This voice file can also be used for front-end speech recognition, but clinicians will be switched over only when they are ready.
