Flashback: RIDI Awards 2014

With the submissions for the RIDI Awards 2015 now open, we take a look back at our success in the 2014 RIDI’s…

Hands Free Computing scooped two highly coveted awards at the Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) Awards.  The awards ceremony took place in the Evershed London Offices, by St Pauls Cathedral on 14 May 2014.

Firstly Hands-Free were announced winner of the Maximising Potential Award sponsored by ClearTalents.com.  This award is given to an organisation that ensures disabled candidates can maximise their potential and make a full contribution in the workplace.

Judges’ Comments: “The judges were so impressed with the post-employment support and the evidence of fulfilling potential in this submission that it was an obvious winner of this important category.”

And then, excitingly, Hands-Free won the Individual Choice Award sponsored by Ranstad. Disabled jobseekers/employees were invited to nominate the agency that provides them with the most positive candidate experience.

Judges’ Comments: “This entry impressed us with the strong individual case study, the early and effective response to adjustments and the innovative solutions that were made available.”
